Frequently Asked Questions
Because we coordinate with major Medicare carriers to lock in compliance approvals and other corporate sponsorship funding, we prefer that all event requests be submitted 6 weeks in advance. If you would like Rock Solid Financial and its partners to host an event that is fewer than six weeks out, you can still submit your request. If it’s feasible for us to do it and for it to be properly promoted, we will accept the request or, if possible, suggest an alternative event that is feasible.
NOTE: Submitting a request for an event and a date for an event is just that–a request. The event and date are not finalized until you receive an official confirmation from our team and, if applicable, submit the event fee.
Marketing:
- To ensure a successful turnout of the right residents, we request that the community handle local marketing. This includes promotion via your community newsletter, email/text blasts, and posting flyers in the mailroom and recreation room starting at least 2 weeks prior to the event (sooner is highly preferred).
Venue:
- Your community / organization will be providing the venue, utilizing an on-site community room or clubhouse along with the use of the facility’s existing tables and chairs.
- Our team will need to see / do a walk through of the venue so we’ll know the space’s logistical capabilities for set up. On the day of the event, we request access to the venue space at least one hour before the start of the event, more time than that if it’s a more complex event.
-
Educational Seminars & Health Classes: $0. All financial and Medicare literacy classes (such as “Turning 65: Medicare, Social Security Timing & Retirement”) are fully corporate-sponsored and free to your community.
-
Hosted Social Events: A flat $300 fee. For activities requiring raw materials or food (e.g., Ice Cream Socials, Bingo, Coffee & Donuts), this flat fee covers specialized hosting and baseline supplies for a strictly managed group of up to 30 targeted residents. To ensure high-quality interactions and stay within compliance, we prefer that attendance is capped and that there is RSVP management. You can do this in-house if you have a system in place or we can assist if you don’t. If you would like greater capacity, we can do so. However, the fee will increase based on the number of people you want to be able to attend to ensure enough supplies, food, etc. for the expected number of attendees.
-
Premium Entertainment Events: Custom Quotes. The cost for high-scale events requiring specialized audio/visual setups or outsourced entertainment (such as the Senior Dance or Silent Disco) is dependent on the specifics of your event. We will always reach out to our partners for additional sponsors to assist with making these events as cost-effective for you as we can.
At Rock Solid Financial, we provide comprehensive life insurance, disability income, health insurance, Medicare, strategic retirement planning, and financial consulting. We partner with communities to offer these activities as a value-add service. Our educational sessions are purely informational, while our social events allow us to introduce ourselves to residents as a trusted, local resource for their future healthcare and financial planning needs. Meanwhile, this also helps your community / organization’s members to be more financially stable.
